In memory of Maggie Hemingway this April

The novelist Maggie Hemingway died in 1993. Pavel Novak commissioned a number of composers to write pieces in her memory for a concert in Brno. You can hear John Woolrich’s contribution to this set of elegies, ‘Keepsake’ for solo cor anglais, in London on 10th April. It will be played by Catherine Underhill at the church of St John the Evangelist, Kensal Rise.
